The Company

Warwick Event Services have been operating for over 30 years, providing AV & Technical, and Exhibition Services to the Live Event Industry. The events we produce range from Corporate Conferences and large scale Exhibitions, to Launches and Gala Dinners. The relationships we forge with our Clients is extremely important to us, and we pride ourselves on delivering the highest standards in everything we do. With offices in Devon and Belfast we are wonderfully diverse team, with a variety of backgrounds from across the live events industry. 

Training & Opportunities

Although experience is beneficial, we very much value a keen desire to learn. As a Company we are proactive when it comes to building team members skills sets and experience. We will ensure successful candidates benefit from a wide range of in house and external training, to give them all of the tools to excel and develop within their role, should they apply themselves proactively and seize opportunities offered to them.

Junior Account Manager:

Overview

Job Role: Junior Account Manager

Job Location: Honiton in Devon, with travel through the UK & Ireland when required

Salary: £14k-£16k depending on experience

Benefits: Company mobile phone, laptop, branded uniform

Working Hours: Core hours 08:30-17:00 Monday to Friday, however due to the nature of the business the role will sometimes include out of hour working and weekend work. On occasion you will be required to be flexible and be available to cover last minute Client requirements at short notice.

Warwick Event Services are looking for an organised Junior Account Manager, to provide support in the management of our Client’. You will be working directly for our National Account Manager, ensuring their accounts are managed in a detailed and timely fashion.

Key responsibilities:

  • Responding to initial enquiries
  • Working with the National Account Manager to write and update client Proposals
  • Assist in formatting and maintaining sales spreadsheets
  • Manage the day to day requirements of smaller accounts
  • Administrative support to the Company Management Team when required
  • Attend meetings, take notes and circulate following
  • Attend site visits and take notes
  • Research and source more bespoke items such as client event décor and performers

The characteristics of the ideal candidate:

  • A genuine interest in the live events industry
  • Exceptional administration skills
  • Proactive

  • A problem solver and solution bringer, in high pressure environments
  • Driven to learn and develop within the role
  • Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally to Clients, Venues and Suppliers

  • Affective organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks
  • Motivated to contribute in a team, and work independently on certain projects

Experience:

Essential

  • Confident in using Word, Excel, PowerPoint and computers in an administrative role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literate
  • Good numerical skills

Desirable

  • Experience of working on Client Accounts
  • Experience of working within live events
  • Experience of using RMS 
  • Health & Safety training
  • Full UK Driving Licence, Category B

 

Assistant Production Manager 

Overview

Job Role: Assistant Production Manager

Job Location: Honiton in Devon, with travel through the UK & Ireland when required

Salary: £18k-£24k depending on experience

Benefits: Company mobile phone, laptop, branded uniform

Working Hours: Core hours 08:00-17:00 Monday to Friday, however due to the nature of the business the role will include out of hour working and weekend work. You will be required to be flexible and be available to cover last minute Client requirements at short notice.

Warwick Event Services are looking for a driven Assistant Production Manager, to support our Audio Visual and Exhibition departments. You will be working directly for our Production Director, supporting the successful design, management and delivery of our Client’s events across the UK.

Key responsibilities:

  • Client communications, as instructed by the Production Director
  • Internal communications as instructed by the Production Director
  • Liaising with industry partners in the supply of hire and purchase equipment
  • Updating logistics documentation based on Production Meeting notes
  • Note taking in meetings and circulation to all parties following
  • Attend site surveys
  • Warehouse support, prepping and loading equipment before an event, and putting it away following the event
  • Technical support at events, including builds, operation and strike
  • Technical sales support for Sales Team
  • Liaise and attend meetings with other company departments / personnel necessary to perform duties and aid business and organisational development
  • Amends to plans and design documents
  • Update and monitor Profit and Loss accounts for events

Experience:

Essential

  • Basic knowledge of Audio Visual and Technical Equipment
  • Previous experience working with AV, either through paid employment, work experience or personal interest
  • Literate in MS Office

Desirable

  • Experience of using CAD design software i.e. Vectorworks, Autocad
  • Experience with graphic design software i.e. Adobe Illustrator, InDesign
  • Experience of using RMS 
  • Health & Safety training
  • Full UK Driving Licence, Category B
